''Star Wars'' Action News is a podcast that describes itself as "the first and only podcast dedicated to ''Star Wars'' collecting." The show regularly has ongoing series including "Collecting 101" series which provides a basic overview of being a ''Star Wars'' collector including what to buy and how to care for a collection, and "30 years of Collecting" which reviewed an item released each year from 1977 through 2007. There have also been interviews on the show with many ''Star Wars'' personalities such as Samuel L. Jackson and Steve Sansweet, Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, and various ''Star Wars'' authors including Alan Dean Foster, Donald F. Glut, James Kahn, L.
